Australian Maritime Systems is a responsible contractor and therefore require all sites where construction and maintenance activities are carried out are managed in a way that ensures the protection of the environment.

AMS has completed many successful projects on marine structures in sensitive environments and has an in depth understanding of the environmental aspects and the potential of impacts that such activities present.  AMS regularly works with Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority (GBRMPA) and National Park Authorities and is familiar with the requirements for control of activities within these sensitive environments. 

AMS has implemented a Business Management System (BMS) to administer its day to day operations.  The manual defines AMS' policies, processes and management practices to ensure Protection of the Environment.
